Many of us think about what we can do to change the world. What can we do in our lives to make the world a better place. And although going vegan, using glass over plastic and taking shorter shores are all impactful, how about we simply start by looking at ourselves?
That is the person that needs to change so the world can change. Once we dig deep and realize our faults, selfishness, egocentricity, and traits of ourselves that are less than acceptable for humanity, we start to want to change. We start to want to be better for ourselves which in turn makes the world a better place, one person at a time.
Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world, today I am wise so I am changing myself.-Rumi
We need to look at ourselves and make a shift of consciousness to stop harming ourselves, mentality, physically and spiritually so that we are able to save ourselves our families and our planet.
I have found that I am stubborn and need to work so much on healthy boundaries as well as saying no and putting my essential needs first. I have found that when someone does something to hurt me, I get stubborn and withdrawal, and go on some sort of strike to stop doing and being who I really want to be. A loving, kind, care fee person. And it sucks. It has taken so much time to stop being stubborn ad even more time to catch myself in the act and change my mindset to a positive one.
Looking at yourself, how do you currently view the world, yourself and that connection? Now look at what ways does your consciousness need to shift to be a happier, healthier -mind, body and soul- stay at home mom?
Changing the world starts at home and in your heart. It starts with your self image, self worth, actions and personal development.
